Constitution Day - Sept. 17th

Federal law states that school institutions receiving federal monies must teach their kids about the Constitution on Sept. 17th (which is Constitution Day). So, everyone at school got geared up to do that last Monday & Tuesday. At the end of the day an email went out to the teachers from one of the 1st grade teachers regarding an experience she had that day as she taught about the Constitution:
"Hi!
I thought you might appreciate a little first grade humor after all the hype for Constitution Day. After my awesome delivery of what a constitution was to my students I asked my students what today was. One girl piped up, "It's CONSTIPATION day!" Nothing like knowing your lesson hit home, yes? =) Have a good day!"
