Summer of Fun!

Ok. This has to be the LONGEST PICTURE POST in the history of blogging! (Which is, what... 5 years old? Maybe?) Anyways. My last post feels like it was 13,000 years ago. I know that the burning question in your mind is "What made her decide to blog again?" The answer can be summed up in two words: 'Brittany' and 'Journal'.

'Brittany' = one of my favorite cousins who, like me, is an addicted collector of family memories in the form of... anything. Especially pictures, facebooking, and blogging. So. She has been (gently) reminding me to get back to blogging. Brittany, this is for you! lol!

'Journal' = I unpacked a bunch of boxes of stuff that my brother so kindly mailed down to me from Alaska. These boxes not only hold sentimental memorabilia from my life but they also represent the finality of being on my own and being married, etc. etc. etc. (Hopefully nothing earth shattering happens after this post and I do end up moving back home with my parents for whatever reason. Fingers crossed.) Anyways, one of the items (several items actually) that I unpacked are journals from when I was 13 till about 25 years old. I spent some time going over those journals and remembered how soul-satisfying it was to record memories, thoughts and feelings. My blog is sort of that (only not quite as soul-baring...). Plus, it is good to have some type of record of my families life with pictures and words.

In any case, here is my grand return to blogging with 4 months worth of pictures and captions! Don't worry, more will be coming...

May 2010 Memories

Family Home Evening:
For Family Home Evening one Monday night, we decided to walk around the corner and visit a little park that is right by an elementary school in our neighborhood. Even though it was after school hours, the fence was locked. Not to be discouraged though, I climbed under a hole in the fence and Jer climbed over the fence. He went first so I could pass Jessica over to him. :-) Rebels unite! Here are some of our pictures. Jess LOVES being outside!!!

Not quite sure about being "high up" on the playground equipment.

Her first time down the slide went pretty well I think...

Swings are a good time for reflection...

On the swing with Daddy...

On the swing with Mommy...

Posing for the camera...

Higher Mommy! Higher!!!

When We're Helping We're Happy... Right?
One thing that Jessica LOVES doing is helping Mommy with practically anything. She is such a great helper! She really wanted to help me bake this cake...

Jessica: Oh! Daddy is taking pictures! I better make it look like I really am helping...

Jessica: Of COURSE I didn't taste it! You can check my tongue and everything! Theeee?!?

Jessica was very attentive during the stirring process.

She did a great job checking the texture.

Pillow Talk:
We have about 11 pillows on our bed. Why? Because (a) I love pillow and (b) I used them while pregnant. They were the ONLY way I could get comfortable at night! Jessica loves our pillows on our bed! We have our mattress and box part on the floor so it is easy for her to climb up on our bed.

Jessica: My favorite side of the bed is where Mommy sleeps...
Mommy: (No really, it's true!)

3 Girls Under 3
Our cousin Barbara and her husband Matt decided to take a trip down to Jamaica for a week. They asked us to watch their two daughters, Hannah (age 3) and Alyssa (who is exactly 1 month younger than Jessica). We said yes and stayed up at their house in Eagle Mountain. It was an experience! Those two girls are adorable and full of energy! Being the "mother" of 3 girls under 3 was challenging and rewarding... Here are some memories of that week:
We had all 3 girls in the backseat of our Hyundai Sonata. 3 girls, 3 carseats. Jessica and Alyssa held hands every time they got into the car together. It was absolutely adorable!

Jessica and Alyssa holding hands. Sweet girls!

We had a busy, busy day! They got so tuckered out!

Hannah had to go potty, Jessica wanted to brush her teeth and Alyssa made sure the toilet paper was ready... I couldn't leave those three alone for a second!

Hannah has the cutest toddler bed! The girls loved being on it together. Alyssa found a book and read Hannah and Jessica a story. So sweet. They had no idea I was taking this picture.

Alyssa - I LOVE this grin! She is so sweet!!!

Hannah - what an adorable little girl! She is a great big sister and such a sweetheart!

Jessica - my angel! She adored being with Hannah and Alyssa.

Jer and I (in all of our naivete) decided to take the three girls to the Hogle Zoo. We figured it would be a fun way to spend a good few hours... we lasted 45 minutes...

Jessica is just a teensy weensy bit too young to really care about the Zoo.

I sat with Jessica and Alyssa on the carousel. They liked the ride. Jer went with Hannah on one of the actual animals that go up and down. She had a blast!

A random peacock walking through the Zoo. The girls wanted to chase him. Poor guy!

They did like the monkeys. I figured at that age they could probably relate!

All three girls fascinated by the monkeys!

At the end of our forever long 45 minutes of Zoo fun, we stopped at some picnic tables for a snack. Alyssa decided to feed Jessica for me. So adorable!

Both of these girls love fruit snacks!

June 2010 Memories
8 Stars Of Gold On A Field Of Blue...

My "baby" sister (Tammy) got married in the Alaska Temple this last June. Jessica and I flew up in the last part of May and spent the last week in May and almost all of June in Alaska with my family. It was wonderful! I loved it! Jessica got to meet almost all of her cousins, aunts, uncles, grandparents (including the greats, 2nds, 3rd and 4ths on those).

Cousin J. Carson:
My cousin Tiffany (who is a year younger than me) has 3 kids; Keegan, McKinley, and J. Karson. Karson is her youngest and Jessica LOVED playing with him!

Jessica: Aaagghh! He's coming closer!

Jessica: He's sitting on his hands so the only thing I can shake to say hello is his ear.

Karson face planted in Jessica's lap....

Jessica helped him up though. Not sure how Karson felt about it all...

Karson: Um, Jessica? I don't think I have enough hair for you to really do that...

Grandpa and Jessica:
Jessica is a funny little soul. Some people she meets, she takes to right away. Others need a little persuasion... It was a good thing we spent 5 weeks in Alaska because my dad was one of those people who she needed to be convinced was o.k. My dad is great though because he was willing to get down on her level to communicate...

Grandpa and Jessica having some one-on-one time.
A lot of my family thinks Jessica looks like my dad.
So much so that one of my aunts calls her "Little Nolan."
What do you think? Definitely the hair styles...

Jessica: Grandpa, welcome to my world under your kitchen table. Thanks for joining me.

The Brinkster:
My cousin Brittany (50% of the reason for blogging again) has an ADORABLE daughter named Brinkley. Brinkley (or the Brinkster as I like to affectionately think of her as) is about 6 weeks older than Jessica. They crack Brittany and I up! When the 4 of us get together we just laugh and laugh because both Brittany and I immediately get our cameras out and the picture taking begins! Jess and the Brinkster are like 2 peas in a pod. They are soooo cute together! My mom teaches preschool and has some really fun toys. One thing that my mom loves to collect is tunnels for her preschoolers. She has over 90 feet of tunnels and tubes and collapsible shapes for kids to crawl in and through. She brought her huge tunnel bus to the house for the girls to play in. Obviously, they LOVED it!

Can't you just imagine them in a few years on their way to kindergarten?!?
Jessica: Just checking out the view from the window seat.
Brinkley: Cheeeeeeese!!!!

Cousins, Identical (almost) cousins... (name that show. If you guessed the Patty Duke show then you are a winner!)

Here are the twin-ers on our balcony. It's perfect because there are no stairs, the railing is close together so they can't fall off, and there is only the sliding glass door leading in or out. They started out having a great time...

Cute girls are still chatting about their plans and goals in life...

Brinkley decides to pose for the camera while Jess moves on to developing her puzzle skills...

Meanwhile, inside the house, Brinkley's older brother (Ryder) is getting ready for his Jackson 5 impersonation gig he has booked... At first he wasn't so excited about the costume. I think it grew on him. No, literally. The costume is so tight that it looks like a second layer of skin!

There's A Giant In The Sky...
(100 non-existent points for guessing the musical that this title comes from...)
My mom also brought over her preschool size table and chairs for Jessica to sit and play on. She really loved having something her size. Jessica ended up eating almost all of her meals at her table. She really enjoyed it when someone would sit at the table with her and keep her company. Both of my parents were more than happy to oblige...

Jessica is playing with... something... probably important... rather than take it away though, I took pictures...

Still playing with the important item... oh look! It's my iPod cover! I wondered where that had gone! (Now I know. See? The pictures helped!)

Jessica: Hey mom! Just having a great time playing with your iPod cover! hee hee hee...

Jessica's Uncle Tyler (Tammy's husband) rocked her to sleep one night. Only, he ended up falling asleep too! So cute! They were both totally out and neither one woke up for the picture!

What A "Hairy" Situation...
Another, all important, event that took place while I was in Alaska was the dyeing of my hair. It needed it badly! So, I invited my cousin Colton to come over and dye it. He thought it was hilarious that I was letting him dye my hair, especially when he had never dyed hair before. My philosophy was, "if he messed up, we'd just re-dye it!" His mom and sister decided to come over and watch. It just cracked his mom up! :-)

Colton looks like the mad and evil hair dyeing doctor!!!

Jacoy is his evil yet happy assistant.
Colton: Nurse I need the... Scalp! Hair! Dye bottle!

Not quite sure about the "donut" look in the front but, as you can see, Colton is getting the hang of it. Me? Just smile and wave boys, just smile and wave!

While Colton dyed my hair, I was working on organizing all of the flowers we bought at Michael's for Tammy and Tyler's wedding. I ended up organizing the wedding. We asked my grandma (my mom's mom) to create the flower arrangements for the guys, the bouquet, the flower girls, the bridesmaids, etc...

The Twins:
Back to the twin-ners....

They had several play dates. This one included lunch...

Jessica really wanted the stroller... I think...

We went to the store and bought the girls matching outfits. The idea was to then take puffy paint and put their hand prints one each shirt and write their name underneath. Each shirt was to have a print from Jessica and one from Brinkley.

Brinkley was not thrilled with the hand print idea... In fact, she screamed her head off... Brittany and I just kept laughing and laughing... We got one shirt with a hand print and, later, when Brinkley fell asleep, we decided to try footprints. Those worked a little better.

Oh and did I mention that Jessica wasn't too happy either?

We changed them into their outfits later and calmed them down with food...

Tam-Tam:
Two random after-the-wedding pictures...

Tammy is filling out something related to her new marriage... Just one of the "thousands" of forms you fill out as the bride when you change your name. Boy does the groom have it easy!

This is me the day after the wedding. I was so tired! Jessica was so cute because she jumped up on the couch and joined me. I really had no idea though!

Girly Girl:
On this trip to Alaska I began to discover that my darling baby girl is very very girly. She loves jewelry, makeup, purses, clothes, nail polish... I have to laugh because I am NOT that type of girl! Where did she come from?!?

My mom brought home a bunch of her plastic necklaces from preschool. Jessica would spend hours putting on necklace after necklace after necklace... She is laughing in this picture.

Jessica: What? More necklaces?!? Sure! A girl can't have too many...

Jessica: Struggling... just need a lil' bit of help here guys...

2010 Workman Family Pictures:
My youngest aunt is Tirzah, Troy's wife. She is from Pleasant Grove and is awesome! We are only a few years apart and I feel more like I have an older sister than an aunt. She is also an amazing photographer and agreed to take our family pictures for us. We wore the cobalt blue stuff that we had for Tammy's wedding and decided to head to the beautiful visitors center at the Chugach National Park set at the base of the Chugach Mountain Range in Alaska. They turned out amazing! (No captions, just scroll on through...)

I know I said no captions but come one! This picture is BEGGING for one! Tirzah and I thought this sign was hilarious so we decided to capture it in a picture with Jessica! Need I say more?!?

All right, another caption. This is, quite possibly, my favorite picture!
Jessica, the human football!

The human football AFTER the game!

July 2010 Memories

Normal Life:
As everything does, our trip came to an end. We went back home to settle down into "normal" life. In our family, in Jessica's world, a normal life includes helping Mommy at every possible moment. :-)
We really need to get a broom that is Jessica's size.

Although, she seems to manage just fine...

Jessica: Mommy... why are you taking pictures of me? I'm just sweeping the floor.

Jessica: I can explain...

Jessica's thoughts: Maybe if I offer her one, the punishment will be less severe...

Our Little Mermaid:
Jessica is also our little water baby. She LOVES water! She can be in the depths of despair, throwing the largest temper tantrum, or whatever, and the minute you say "bath" or put on the sprinklers outside and let her go for it, tears stopped. (I really think it's magic.)

She loves water so much that the crying stopped without any water in the pool! Like I said, magic!

More water pictures... Daddy is trying to teach Jessica how to use his super soaker so that she can get Mommy!

Look at that smile! She adores the water!!!

She almost has that super soaker figured out!

Mommy and Jessica snuggling after playing outside in the pool and in the sprinklers. (Jess was kind enough to share a binki with me too...)

Random June Photos:
Some random memories from June 2010...

Jessica is "baking" with her flour in a plastic pan and her bowl and spoon. She loved it!

Jer and I went to a wedding reception for the son of someone he baptized in Madagascar. It was at this very ritzy restaurant with a mini golf course out back. Of course we decided to hit some balls. (This is the "proof" that I tried as well...) :-)

Jessica with her first pony ride!

Happy Fourth of July:
One of my favorite holidays is 4th of July!

I have this cut-up cake book that lets you make cool cakes. Here is my first attempt at holiday cake...

Jessica is excited for the day!

Posing for the camera!

Instead of braving the crowds for a parade this year, we decided to go on a family picnic. I knew that if Jessica could just stay awake until we got there she would be so excited and stay awake. She didn't make it...

I don't know why these pictures loaded upside down but, this is her napping under a tree in the park. So adorable!

Sweet honey...

Look at that angel face!

When she woke up she was sooo excited to be able to play! She LOVES the swings!

Playing with Mommy...

Daddy's turn...

We invited some of Jer's family over to celebrate with a movie, food, games, and fireworks!
Left to Right ('front' row): Angie, Jessica, Jer
Left to Right ('back' row): Candice, Dianne, Toby, Sarah

This is the beginning of one of my favorite pictures I have ever taken...

This is one of my favorite pictures ever!
It features the acrobatic stylings of my husband and cousins...

Angie is strutting her stuff! Whoot! Whoot!

Daddy takes a turn...

Now we are practicing yoga...
Left to Right: Jer, Angie, Candice, (Jessica), Amy, Sarah

Random July II:
More random pictures from July 2010...

Jessica is practicing her piano skills. Personally, I think sitting up right on the bench is a great beginning for her...

Jessica and Mommy are reading together...

My sad, sad attempt at a cool nintendo cake for my friend's son's 15th birthday. She said it was no big deal because it tasted good and 15 is a throw-away year anyways. I said it's a good thing she has a throw-away cake to go with it! Good thing I am still practicing!

Hogle Zoo Take Two:
We decided to go back to the Zoo with just our darling girl. We met up with one of Jer's mission companions and his family.

Jessica and Cannon playing with this huge marble looking ball that has water running lightly all over it... if that makes sense...

This is us by this HUGE metal elephant with all of these cool carvings on it.

We got a front row seat to the elephant show. Cannon and Jessica lasted about 15 minutes. Not bad kiddo's... not bad...

Daddy looking at the camels with Jessica...

Jessica was definitely more into the animals this time than a month ago. Except, in this picture she's not even looking at the gorilla... wait a minute...

Since Jessica was free on the carousel, we decided to take her twice, once with each of us. She LOVED it! If I knew how to post video's on here I would post the video of her screaming in anger and sadness when we took her off...

She was soooo glad to go on the carousel a second time with Daddy.

Jer is walking with his mission companion, Dustin. His wife (Heather) and I were hanging back talking. We kept laughing because we could totally see Dustin and Jer as missionary companions, walking from door to door, preaching the gospel, laughing, and having a great time. They were very one-track minded. Their thought? "Get through the zoo!" They kept giving us a hard time about hanging back and walking slow while we kept teasing them about speed walking. It was pretty funny.

Jessica and Mommy riding the train.
"Choo choo the big train is coming down the track now!
Whoo! Whoo! Whoo! Whoo!"

The Workman Family... Mommy and Daddy are more excited about this photo op than Jessica seems to be.

At the end of the day (about 2 or 3 hours later) the kids are tired, we're all hot, and thank heavens for the fan that is located to the left of the shot. It is huge and blows water mist on everyone who walks by... (You can kind of tell that something is going on by Jer and Jessica's faces in the background.)

This is a better shot of the mist-blowing fan's effects. (I'll admit, I love the little girl standing to the left of Jer with her hands out... So cute!)

Footloose:
It got really, really hot over the summer and we do not have air conditioning. Just a swamp cooler. So. That means a lot of fans in almost every room. Jessica's room, especially, was hot. She would wake up just dripping sweat. We decided to take the bumper pads off of her crib to see if that would let air circulate around her easier. The first night we heard this thump coming from her room. We crept in and saw this...

Cracked us up! She was dead asleep and her foot was sticking through the crib bars. I snapped a picture. About 10 minutes later we heard another thump and a squeal. We peeked in again... she had pulled her leg back through the bars. She hasn't had an issue with it since...

Funny Faces:
Jessica is a major cheese-ball. She loves to ham it up for the camera! That can't have anything to do with her mother being addicted to taking pictures could it?!?
Warning: some of these pictures are cute while others are designed to crack you up. Not for the faint of heart...

I could take pictures of this face all day!

Jessica: This is really my best side mom...

Jessica: How close to the camera can I get?

Showing off them pearly whites.

Apparently this is her new "cheeeese" face.

Tell me the truth, does she, or does she not, look like Chris Farley as a baby?!?

We have this weird window in the middle of our house that leads from the office to the hallway. Jess loves sitting on it. You can't see it but Jer is on the other side holder her legs so she doesn't fall... It's perfectly safe. Perfectly.

Cake Decorating:
You saw the 4th of July cake earlier in this post. I have become addicted to cake making! This is my first attempt at a double layer fondant cake. I made it for a young men movie night. It turned out ok, if I do say so myself...

Jessica is helping me prep...

Ta-dah!!!!

Ta-dah!!!!

Cousins!
Jessica has one first cousin. So far. :-) His name is Ethan and he is the cutest, bestest, smartest, most adorable and wonderful nephew ever! His mom and dad (Rissy & James) went to Germany because James is in the military. They will be there 6 years. We miss them like crazy! Before they went, they stayed in Utah for a little while. First with James' family (up in Ogden) and then down with us. We loved it and had a wonderful, wonderful time!

Posing for the camera again...

Ethan & Jessica - she wanted to do EVERYTHING Ethan was doing! Even if it was just sitting in a doorway. If Ethan did, Jessica had to do it too. Ethan was a good sport about it.

Ethan was not thrilled that I was taking his picture. Poor nephew!

Jessica, on the other hand, was thrilled that I was taking her picture...

We have a queen size blowup bed and Jessica loved trying to jump on it. It was pretty funny.

There's a better half-smile from that cute kid!

2 little monkey's jumping on the bed...

1 little monkey jumping on the bed...

Ethan was reading Jess a story. They both love to read...

Grammy and Grampy bought them shirts from Bucky's. Apparently, it's this store halfway between Houston and San Antonio (I think) and it sells every type of candy or snack or treat you have ever heard of. Plus, they advertise the cleanest bathrooms in the USA... Grammy really wanted a picture of the two of them in their Bucky shirts...

So adorable!

Ethan picked Jessica up and she wrapped her legs around him...

Giving kisses on the forehead...

Whispering secrets in the ear... I wonder what she's telling him...

Jessica: Mom. Do you mind? I'm coloring here...

Jessica & Ethan coloring... Ethan was probably doing it for fun. Jessica was doing it because Ethan was doing it.

Jessica's thoughts: Which color will best represent they feeling I'm attempting to portray in my masterpiece?

Ethan is contemplating the same thought...

We also made 2 liter bottle rockets and decided to shoot them off in a park around the corner... This is the prep time...

Before the launch...

3... 2... 1... Blast Off!!!!

They seriously went HIGH into the air! This one got stuck on a tree on the way down...

Jessica decided to push Ethan for a change in scenery.

Happy Pioneer Day:
July 24th - Pioneer Day. We went to Rock Canyon Park in Provo and decided to try ice blocking and play bocce (fun game. Look it up). It was a hoot! We had a blast!!!

Jer and I attempting the first run down the hill.

Jer is finishing his 2nd attempt down the hill (on his stomach no less) while I am running into some technical difficulties. Not quite sure what can be classified as a technical difficulty in ice blocking, but whatever it is, I ran into it.

I love this picture because it is the 3 Workman kids.
From left to right: Jeremy (a.k.a. Jer), Angela (a.k.a. Angie, Ang), Clarissa (a.k.a. Rissy, Ris)

Angie also experienced some technical difficulties while Rissy made it down unscathed...

We decided to take a break from ice blocking and play bocce. I took pictures since there were not enough balls. Jessica noticed me and came charging down the run way to help...

They were having a good time...

Jessica LOVES being outside!!!

Where did the ball land?!? Whose is closest?

Daddy decided to take Jessica down for a little ice blocking fun.

They came skidding to a halt at the end. Jessica laughed and laughed and laughed...

We are all a little tired after lots of fun today.

24th Of July Fireworks:
Lately I have become obsessed with taking pictures of fireworks. In one of my scrapbooking magazines I saw some cool pictures and I love to try and capture similar cool pictures. For a simple point and click camera, these turned out pretty cool!

James was the master of fireworks ceremony...

I really loved the individual sparkles on this one.

We all got individual sparklers to play with. I turned the flash off of my camera and caught these pictures. They are my favorite firework pictures ever. I LOVE how it lights up Ethan and is dark around it. So cool!!!

Another cool Ethan / Firework picture picture.

Jessica wanted to go with James on their way to the airport.
She loves her Uncle James. :-)

August 2010 Memories

Princess Cake:
This is for Hannah's 3rd birthday party.

The pink spires are sugar cones dipped in white chocolate and then rolled in pink crystals.

Again, not sure why my pictures are loading upside down... oh well.
Happy Birthday Hannah!!!

Temper Tantrums:
*sigh* It has begun. My one consolation is that I can document them so people who believe my daughter is super mellow can see the truth. She's not always super mellow...

Step 1: Throw yourself on the floor. Stomach is the best to start out with. Tip your head up so that the parent can see the tears, hear the crying, and get the full effect...

Step 2: Begin the rollover. This allows the parent to realize that a simple solution will not work. You are going for complete and total parental emotional domination. (Check to see if parent is still watching. If they are, continue to step 3. If they aren't, stop crying and wait until they glance over, THEN continue on to step 3).

Step 3: Before you completely roll over, be sure to widen the mouth, wail harder, and let the tears roll as you make eye contact. In a temper tantrum, eye contact is vital to manipulating your parents emotions in your favor. When faced with teary eyes, parents are tempted to cave.

Step 4: Flop onto your back. This gives you a prime position from which to kick your legs up and down without injuring the spine. A quick check of the parents face will let you know whether continued wailing or pathetic sniffles will do the trick. Be careful not to confuse one with the other. They are each potent in their own way.

Step 5: Remember. No matter how funny your parental is trying to be, DO NOT BEGIN TO LAUGH! You will completely lose the parent and have to find a time to start all over!

How Much Is That Doggy In The Window?:
One of my friends in our ward, Sarah, has a daughter who turned 1. I offered to make her cake. Sarah told me she liked animals so this is what I came up with...

Woof! Woof!

Cute Pictures!
There's only two random ones for August...

She's getting so big!!!

Jessica LOVES strawberries!

September 2010 Memories

Happy Birthday Daddy:
Jer's birthday is on September 2nd. During that time (well, a little bit before and for about a week after) his parents came and stayed with us. We enjoyed spending time with them tremendously. Jessica especially loved hanging out with her grandparents!

Putting away all of our food for the week. I am styling a pink Walmart shirt with my favorite pair of sweatpants from high school. Yes. My senior sweats!

One of my bestest friends, Kate, has a daughter that turned 3. She asked that I do Taryn's cake for her party. She wanted a Nemo cake. So, here it is! A 3 layer blue fondant Finding Nemo cake. (My personal favorite touch is the diver that is poking up behind Nemo on the cake... This particular Nemo could eat him for lunch!)
Bottom layer = 9" round cakes.
Middle layer = 6" round
Top layer = 1 cupcake

Jessica bonded with her grandpa very quickly. They became buds.

Grammy and Grampy took Jessica to a petting zoo in South Jordan. Apparently, she LOVED it! (Did not surprise me). Kate and I have plans to take Taryn and Jess back there this October...

One of my favorite things that Jessica does is to stand with her hands on her hips and just observe what is going on around her. It is so adorable. She gets this completely serious look on her face and I would give anything to know what is going on inside of her head...

Petting the lamb with Grammy...

We decided to go bowling as a family. Jessica loved playing! She really had a fun time rolling the ball down the kiddie bowling...thing. She would then try to chase the ball down the lane! She also got very excited for everyone around her bowling. There was a group of guys next to us and, after they bowled, she would run up and start screaming and clapping in excitement. So cute!

She really wanted to wear the same bowling shoes as the rest of us.

Later, Grammy and I gave Jess a popsicle. She was starting to teeth again... Pesky molars in the back!

This is Grandpa Workman's parents. Great-Grandpa and Great-Grandma Workman.

We decided, on Labor Day, to have another picnic with ice blocking and playing games. It was a little nippy so we put Jessica in these cute pink overalls.

Grammy got done ice blocking so Jer took Jessica down. Again, she LOVED it! I'm excited to go sledding with her this winter!

We bought a cheap-o $15 game set at Walmart. There are 5 different games included with a net. Not bad. We decided to play volleyball and badminton...

Not quite sure what I'm trying to do here. It looks like some silly chicken dance with a racket! Jessica seems to be helping somehow... I think Jer's ready to pick up the slack in case I miss...

Grammy, Jessica & Grandpy

Well... that is our life from May till the middle of September in a nutshell! I'll definitely have to keep posting and posting more often! (This catch-up has seriously taken me 24 hours to do! Not including the 8 hours of sleeping I did last night!) *whew!* But it's done.

I love my family and looking back has been a blast. We have had some great times!
